Three “Plant” theives arrested.
Police officers of the Guardia Civil have arrested three men in Almoradí in recent days, accused of stealing equipment and tools in Guardamar del Segura.
The operation was completed with the arrest of two other suspects, who allegedly acquired material stolen by the original arrestee.
The investigation started 8 days ago, when local police officers stopped a van in Rojales. Its two occupants, both Moroccans, were carrying a hammer and a hydraulic fitting to make holes in the ground. They could not account for the equipment and so were arrested for an alleged crime of receiving stolen goods.
