Body of a new born baby found at waste treatment plant

Employees of the Valdemingómez waste treatment plant in Madrid have found the body of a newborn baby, whose death is now being investigated by the National Police.

A police spokesman Madrid has reported that the discovery occurred about 16:00 pm yesterday in one of the recycling plants, after which the operators contacted the police.

The baby’s body was taken to the Anatomic Forensic Institute to perform the autopsy.

The Valdemingómez Technology Park is located on Avenue of the Mediterranean, in the district of Villa de Vallecas, near the Cañada Real.
