50 Year old brit found dead and eaten by his dog in Torremendo

The Guardia Civil has opened an investigation to clarify the strange death of a man in Torremendo. The body, with an arrow stuck in his chest in the area of his heart, was found yesterday morning at the home of the victim.
Beside him was a dog who, driven by hunger, had bitten the lifeless body of his master, feeding off his earlier injuries.

The macabre discovery was made after neighbors noticed that the occupant had not been seen for several days. This was reported to the police resulting in officers investigating the scene and making the unpleasant discovery.

An initial inspection carried out at the scene served to confirm that there was no evidence of foul play or that a theft had occurred. Apparently, there was nothing unusual about the property, which has dismissed the theory of murder.

The deceased was identified as a British citizen of a little over 50 years of age.
An investigation is being carried out.
