A 37 year old Guardia Civil officer from Casabermeja (Malaga) died early this morning after being hit by a car whilst attending to a previous road traffic incident on the A-45 as it passes through the town of Antequera, Malaga.

The incident occurred about 03:00 at kilometre 118 of the road, where the officer and their partner JLBL were dealing with an incident in the area of Las Pedrizasalso.

The officer, who was unmarried, was seriously injured and was transported to a hospital where he died hours later.
