Local police officers on the Orihuela Costa have arrested a 24 year old man, a resident of Torrevieja, who was caught driving a vehicle despite not having a license, according to municipal sources.

The arrest took place on April 27, when a Police patrol observed a locally registered Seat Toledo car, in which the 2 occupants were acting suspiciously.

Officers stopped the vehicle and found that the 24 year old driver did not hold a driving license, so they make an arrest for an alleged offence against road traffic law.

The officers also arrested the passenger of the vehicle, a female of 35 years years of age, also a resident of Torrevieja, as an arrest warrant was found to be in place issued by a court in Madrid.
