According to the CEP, which has 23,000 members, this is the tenth time this course has been presented, “Specializing in intellectual property crime”.

The aim is to better prepare officers to deal with new threats to the safety and welfare of society and address the technical and legal aspects relating to offenses against intellectual property.

It is a criminal activity that does not raise the same alarms within society as other offences, but it is one of the factors that causes the greatest harm to the cultural industry.

Attendees will receive training on the treatment and trial of criminal offenses, as well as the techniques used to detect carriers of illegal storage of protected works that are their copyright.

The course is also scheduled to be attended by officers of the Guardia Civil and local police in the province.
