At around 18:45, in a packed Terra Mitica theme park in benidorm, the scene was sent into chaos, following an attack on the attraction.

Two large explosions were heard, the boat had caught fire, some people were rescued by helicopter, a total of 45 people were injured, some suffering major injury, and it all ended with a huge shoot out…

…of course, none of it was real! It was a test of reactions of the emergency services and how they would deal with such a potential event.

The drill was carried out by the Sociedad Española de Medicina de Urgencias y Emergencias (SEMES) , as part of their XXI National Congress which was held in Benidorm last week.
