The State Agency of Meteorology (AEMET) has now turned to the yellow alert in the provinces of Zaragoza, Valencia, Alicante and Murcia, with the high temperatures were recorded throughout this Monday. According to AEMET, in these four provinces temperatures will reach up to 36 degrees during the day.

The announcement affects Saragossa, into northern and southern interior of Valencia, the interior and north coast of Alicante and Murcia.

In addition, AEMET announced rain in the northeast mainland, which may extend to Cantabria, Extremadura and Castilla y Leon.

In the interior of Galicia, Asturias and Cantabria, the rains may be locally moderate and accompanied by thunderstorms.
