La plataforma Prou has presented the Parlament of Catalunya with a petition of 180.169 signatures they have gathered to promote the People’s Legislative Initiative to ban the bullfights in Catalonia.
The developers want to change the laws for the protection of animals to include bulls which are currently exempt to the prohibition of abuse and death of animals in public.
This Sunday, José Tomás kill will fight six bulls in a monumental bull fight.
