A plane had to make an emergency landing on Sunday in the middle of the A-44 motowray in Granada, which links the capital with the coast, according to  sources from the Guardia Civil de Tráfico.

The emergency landing, which took place at 17:00, occurred as a result of mechanical failure and did not cause injuries or material damage.

The plane has landed at the height of kilometre 144 in regard to the capital, on one of the lanes of the highway, and was subsequently moved to an emergency deceleration lane so as not to cause distractions.
