The Guardia Civil has been in Malaga, Seville and Madrid to the arrest of SGR, IGP and JCB as alleged perpetrators of the crime of possession and distribution of child pornography via the Internet and child sexual abuse.

The investigation began in December 2008 after a citizen complained to the Guardia Civil over the existence of a community forum “Boylover” (lover of boys) in which users were making comments in favor of pedophilia.

After carrying out inquiries on that user, the agents found out that chats and conversations with young people were originating at a medical school and to another user in Seville, boasted of having had relations with minors.

Therefore, the Guardia Civil conducted a search of his home and found a large amount of evidence, that users of the forum had physical contact with minors who they could have met through the forum.

Similarly, a company providing Internet services made a complaint to the Guardia Civil having identified their own forum in which different messages, like the previous one, about pedophilia.

During the investigation one adult from Madrid was discovered pretending to be the son of a friend (a minor) and that he had obtained numerous photographs and videos, which were subsequently exchanged with other members of the group of “Boylovers.

The three detainees were identified as “Boylovers” and users of the forum of the same name. They were presented to the judicial authorities, who  ordered the imprisonment of all of them.
