So, Estar is for place, correct?
Thank you for all your videos!
no estar es “to be” or “to stay”
estar is for places as well as for a condition or or state of mind for example
“Yo estoy triste” I am sad “Yo estoy enferma”I am sick..

“Ser” is used for basic traits and permanent characteristics. Ser tells who the subject is.
Ex.
Yo soy americana.
I am american.
This is permanent because I will always be American, because I was born in America, and it tells who I am.
“Estar” is used for temporary conditions, things that will change. Estar tells where the subject is and how the subject feels.
Ex.
Yo estoy enferma
I am sick
Being sick is temporary, you won’t always be sick, you will get better.
Is that clearer 4 u all?
very clear
so basically ser= is permanet and estar = is temporary
Good…now it is clear between SER and ESTAR…Thanks for it
yo soy de aquí = I am from here
yo estoy en la casa = I am in the house
basically estar is for places and temporary situations
to make it easier, i always learned “how you feel and where you are, that is when you use estar”
it really helps me
That’s an easy explanation.. but.. There are lots of cases.. you can use “ser” and “estar” It isn’t always like that..
In general it’s like that..
Good job anyway cuz it’s the best I saw.. hehe
