A 40 year old man died today as a result of a collision between the motorcycle he was riding and a van, on the N-332 between the towns of Sueca and Sollana, as reported by the Provincial Fire Consortium.

The occupant of the van, a 57 year old man, was trapped inside the vehicle and suffered several bruises, so he had to be transferred to the Hospital La Fe de Valencia, where he stayed with a reserved prognosis, according to confirmed sources for the Information and Coordination of Emergency Unit (CICU).

The incident took place shortly before 16:52, when, for reasons as of yet unknown, a motorcycle and a van collided head on in that way at a point situated four kilometres from Sueca in the direction of Sollana.

Fire service vehicles and emergency ambulances attended the scene.
