A 40 year old British woman, identified as Paula S. from Chelmsford, has died on board an Iberia Flight 3719, flying from Tangier (Morocco) to Madrid on Sunday morning.

According to sources, the crew of the aircraft requested to land at San Pablo Airport in Seville, as a result of the incident.

These same sources said that Flight 3719 Iberia landing at 14:59 hours at the airport of Seville. All the passengers disembarked for the subsequent removal of the body by the coroner.

The flight resumed at 18:50. As certified AENA this incident did not affect air traffic in the city of Seville.

The Guardia Civil Guard said the body of the deceased was taken to the Forensic Anatomical Institute of Seville where an autopsy will be carried out.
