A teacher of sixth grade public school in Alicante Llorca Juan Bautista has been judged by a lack of harassment and other abuse by punishing a student who had done their homework. The Secretary of Labour Health Fete-UGT-PV, Francisco Crespo, has described as “highly exaggerated” and “misplaced” the case.

The teacher was reported by the girl’s father, who accused him of making copy more punishing than a hundred times the phrase “I do what I send, and put faces to the wall for not bringing his homework.

The hearing of the trial took place in Alicante on Thursday. The prosecution requested the acquittal of the teacher and the private prosecution claims a lack of conviction for harassment and other abuse, in addition to a thousand euros for damages.

The complaint argues that these copies had to perform during school hours and that the girl gave him such humiliation that ended up puking and was forced to pick. The teacher denied that she vomited and the prosecutor has called the complaint simply “preposterous”.

“Greatly exaggerated”

According to Crespo, “in a state of law, one can resort to the courts for what it considers appropriate, that’s what.” But it did show his disagreement with the “fact that the judge considers that there is cause.”
