Bombardier wins $405 mln share of rail contract – MarketWatch

Canada´s Bombardier (CA:BBD.B 4.79, -0.01, -0.21%) said Thursday that as part of a consortium with Talgo, it has won a 14-year contract for the maintenance of a fleet of 30 very-high-speed trains in Spain.

The total value of the contract is around 641 million euros ($917 million) of which Bombardier´s share is around $405 million.

The fleet of trains is currently being manufactured by Bombardier in consortium with Talgo.
