The Spanish Minister for the Environment Rural and Marine Affairs, Elena Espinosa, accompanied by Carolina Darias of the Canary Islands Government, has visited some of the areas affected by flooding that occurred earlier this week in the Canary islands.

She is also meeting with Paulino Rivero, President of the Canaries government, with a view to try to assist in the repair effort.
