Vodafone brings Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 to Spain
Vodafone has launched the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 smartphone on the Spanish market. The device will be commercially available in Spain from 8 February.
The smartphone will be exclusively available in the Vodafone network during the first three months following launch, El Economista reports, citing Magnus Ahlqvist, general director of Sony Ericsson Iberia.
The X2 runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 and comes with a 3.2-inch touch screen and qwerty keypad. It also features a 8.1 megapixel camera, A-GPS, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and Office Mobile, Wi-Fi and HSPA connectivity, up to 16GB memory and a range of multimedia apps such as YouTube and 3D games.
The Xperia X2 has a recommended price of EUR 700 without contract. Vodafone will also sell the smartphone in combination with an 18-month data plan subscription.
