2010 in Orihuela is flavoured by Miguel Hernández. Throughout the year, Orihuela will be commemorating the centenary of the birth of its most universal citizen with a varied and interesting calendar of events. Alejandro Sanz, Luis Eduardo Aute, Joan Manuel Serrat and Ismael Serrano will all be giving concerts in this incredible town in Alicante province.
Over 500 activities will be taking place in Orihuela this year. In fact, this week, specifically on 12th March, you can enjoy Orihuela’s famous Proclamation of Easter Week, a festival deemed to be of National Tourist Interest, as well as the Opera Recital Madame Butterfly, taking place on 17th March.
