MALAGA KILLER HAS LOST BODY

After a 14-hour interrogation, SELF-CONFESSED murderer Miguel Carcaño says he 'does not know' where the victim's body is after he was asked where the remains of his ex-girlfriend were. Miguel admitted to killing 17-year-old Marta del Castillo Casanueva a year ago, and has persistently refused to reveal where he dumped her after her death.
Miguel's current girlfriend, Rocío, 16, says the killer left his mobile telephone in his house in Camas (Sevilla) when he left in the early hours of the morning shortly after Marta's death and went back to it, which invalidates his having been in the building throughout the night after the killing as proven by mobile telephone signals.
Rocío has said that Miguel confessed the crime to her at 01.30hrs on the day after the gang-raping and strangling of Marta, but says her letters to him in prison, in which she pleaded with him to reveal the full details of the murder, had been dictated by police officers.
The mother of 16-year-old Javier G.M., also accused of rape and murder, said her son had returned home at 23.30hrs on the night of the murder and had not left home since. She said Javier wanted to 'throw all this back in Miguel's face' and ask him 'why he was doing this to him'.
The trial, which went on until late in the evening, saw all the suspects and a few witnesses giving statements continues.
