Fake Pilots Arrested in Madrid
Two men dresses in pilot uniforms, complete with caps and insignias, were arrested by Spanish narcotics agents, trying to smuggle 55kgs of cocaine through Madrid airport.
Police said their suspicions were aroused after the men, who arrived on a plane from Bolivia, checked out with the passengers rather than with airline personnel.
The men were taken aside and their documents revealed they did not fly for any airline and packets of cocaine were discovered in their carry-on baggage.
Spain is considered the entry point for South American cocaine bound for sale across Europe.
