El for leather the world´s biggest wallet

Spanish workers went el for leather to win a new official world record – by making the globe´s biggest wallet.

The six foot hight billfold – which weighs 450lbs – used the skins of two cows and took a team of 13 craftsmen in Ubrique, Spain, to cut and stitch it together over two months. “It is an example of how expertly we make leather goods around here and how we have faith that we can beat the economic crisis,” said a Town Hall spokesman, now contacting Guinness World Records over the stunt.

Other locals are less easily convinced. “Look at the size of those credit cards in it. I´d hate to get the bills for them,” said one.
