Why did I go and open my mouth, letting all my golfing friends in the UK know what great winter weather we were having. Then I had egg on my face as our game on Thursday was called off because of the rain and a cold wind.

I'll be careful next time .There was a bit of hope as two of our members did go out for a game, but they have not been seen since. Update on the Presidents Trophy, leading after January's game is Steve Woods on 53 pt's, followed by Maurice Flint 49 pt's, Mike Sephton 47 pt's, and Ray Pryce 45 pts.

In the Player of the Year Trevor Brown Memorable Trophy, Mike Sephton leads with 206 pt's, followed by Ray Pryce 203 pt's Eric Lucas 200 pt's and Maurice Flint 191 pt's. Three months to go so looks like a close run thing. Benidorm Trip players going on this trip need to make their final payment this Thursday after our game at Saurines de la Torre.

Thursday 23 rd February at Roda first tee 11-00 Presidents Trophy meet at Gogarty's 9-30. Saturday 25th February at Roda first tee 10-00 Meet at Stray Sod 8-30 Please note that all Saturday games you can go straight to the course. Please let Maurice know if you are doing this.
