VEGA BAJA PREMIER GOLF LEAGUE – FONT DEL LLOP GOLF 3rd FEBRUARY 2012
KAMEELEON PREMIER DIVISION - Following the disastrous January when the League suffered due to a pre-booked course failing on its commitment, in not having enough buggies for the Premier Division players and having no clubhouse open for players and the Leagues administration. This also resulted in the Champions Division game being withdrawn.
One match was completed in January on the basis that one team had a 320Km round trip, so0 it was agreed this game should be played, this was between La Manga North G S and Don Cayo G S. La Manga being victors 3 – 1 and the new League table includes the result. The remaining matches will be played at Las Ramblas Golf Club in February and March
So it was to Font del Llop who always provided the League with full facilities and a warm welcome, but they could not do anything about the bitterly cold weather on the day. Although the sun shone with a wind chill factor it was something like -3º. It was arranged by Font del Llop to provide the players with hot soup out on the course. Thank you Vanesa.

La Manga N G S 2.5 (34 holes) vs. Eurogolf G S 1.5 (38 holes)
Las Ramblas G S 1 (34.5 holes) vs. Club 25 Serena 3 (37.5 holes)
Team Torre G S 0.5 (32 holes) vs. Rocajuna G S 3.5 (40 holes)
Although Eurogolf lost their match they took the bonus points as a result of winning more holes. Bonus points went to, La Zenia G S, Eurogolf G S, Club Serena and Rocajuna G S
Next month its back to the Costa Calida and Mar Menor Golf Village venue of the PGA EuroPro Tour Champion Final.
